Bringing TravelPerk’s New Brand to Life with a Scalable Design System

Overview

When TravelPerk partnered with Wolff Olins, they delivered a bold new identity, including a refreshed strategy, logo, and tone of voice. My role as Senior UI & Design Systems Designer was to help a small team translate this brand into a cohesive, scalable design system across the product.

Approach

We created a new token-based design system for TravelPerk, refreshing components to align with the brand’s updated styling. Typography, colours, spacing, corner radii, and interaction states were defined and applied consistently across the system. By rebuilding components in Figma and collaborating closely with developers, we ensured design and code stayed aligned—making the system scalable and easy to maintain.

Outcome

The refreshed look went live across all of TravelPerk’s digital platforms on March 31, 2025, followed by a wider brand campaign in April. Thanks to the design system, the rollout was consistent and seamless across channels, from product interfaces to marketing touchpoints. Early customer feedback highlighted the clarity, modern feel, and ease of use of the new design, reinforcing TravelPerk’s positioning as a bold and human travel platform.
